When test driving a Used Toyota Tundra, lets think about the superiority of a Toyota and the resale value for all Used Toyota Camry, it’s not lets say, as good as purchasing a Used Chrysler in Gainseville but it does have an advantage over the opposition.
The 2009 Suzuki Equator is equipped with a powerful 6 cylinder, not as good as the Toyota Tundra V6, which has enough strength for all those weekend projects and light duty work truck job. The less expensive 4 cylinder engine is also available in the Equator, getting a lot better gas mileage than the six cylinder is much easier on your wallet, but if I’m doing a big job or in a hurry to see my girl the more horsepower V6 is the choice for me.
Creating an abundance of horsepower, 6 cylinder series are up for almost any task, the 2009 Suzuki is equipped with superb suspension and steering control for every job along with a very smooth shifting automatic transmission.
The RMZ-4′s off-road handling package makes that bumpy ride act a little more like a truck. The 4WD models are capable of rough terrain, this truck has a remarkable amount of compression throughout the suspension, along with 10” of ground clearance.
The less expensive base Equator is stripped and fitted with 15” steel alloy wheels and bucket seats with a console but little else, A/C or a sound system is standard. The top of the line series has 16” aluminum wheels, a sliding rear window, a tilt steering wheel, keyless entry, full power accessories and comfortable cloth upholstery. Picking the Sport gets you seventeen inch alloy rims, a rhino coated bed liner and removable tie-down anchors in the bed.
The RMZ-4 looks great with chrome exterior trim, beefed up axles, an electrical locking ring and pinion, Bilstein shocks, brush plates, 16” alloy wheels with meat hogs for tires, fog lights, height and lumbar adjustments for the driver seat and metallic interior accents. The RMZ-4 Sport adds an upgraded stereo system with a CD player, an auxiliary audio jack, satellite radio prep, and Bluetooth capabilities. Oddly enough, an aftermarket style GPS is optional on all crew cabs but not available on the extended-cab Equators. Bluetooth is an option exclusively provided for the RMZ-4 crew cab.
